Your responsibilities
- Complete allocated tasks as part of month end close processes eg:
- Prepare and enter cashbook journals.
- Prepare and enter month end journals.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations prepared by Accounts Assistant.
- Prepare supplemental month-end analysis
- Prepare analysis for quarterly commentary.
- Support the Field Finance and FP&A teams to produce their forecasts and reporting.
- Review VAT return
- Deal with queries and data requests from internal and external audit, and tax departments as required.
- Supply information and oversee the production and filing of local statutory accounts and taxation submissions by local advisors.
- Point of contact for payroll.
- Local Finance point of contact for the business, dealing with issues or escalating as appropriate.
Your profile
- Qualified Accountant or in later stages of an accountancy qualification
- First Experience of Finance department work
- Experience working within a similar role/at a similar level.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to tight deadlines
- Ability to work under your own initiative/with minimal supervision
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- A drive for accuracy and completeness
