What training should IT engineers have?

A solid technical and administrative foundation is crucial for your career as an IT engineer. Ideally, this means a technical education, a degree in computer science or retraining or further training in the IT field. Training to become an IT engineer can either take the form of an apprenticeship or courses. The training path for this profession is not strictly regulated in Austria.
