Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement compensation and rewards strategies in line with company objectives and local legislation
  • Manage job evaluation, grading structures, and salary bands across Germany and relevant EU markets
  • Conduct salary benchmarking, market analysis, and annual compensation reviews
  • Oversee employee benefits programs and manage relationships with external benefits providers
  • Ensure compliance with German labor law, tax, social security, and compensation regulations
  • Partner closely with Payroll, Finance, Legal, and HR teams on reward-related processes
  • Maintain compensation data within HRIS systems and provide HR analytics and reporting
  • Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, consultants, and external associations
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and HR Business Partners on compensation and people matters

Profile

  • Experience as HR Business Partner and/or Reward Specialist; experience in technology, engineering, automotive or fast-moving product environments preferred
  • Solid knowledge of German labor law, compensation & benefits regulations, tax and social security considerations
  • Hands-on experience with job evaluation, market benchmarking, company car policies and HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Analytical mindset: advanced Excel skills, experience with reward analytics and modelling
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written), Swedish competence is preferred
