Senior Tax Manager EUCAN (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee tax matters across multiple European countries, including Eastern Europe
- Lead and proactively manage tax audits with local authorities at federal, regional, and local levels
- Ensure corporate income tax compliance in coordination with shared services and external advisors
- Act as a key advisor to internal stakeholders (Finance, Legal, HR, Supply Chain, Business Development, etc.)
- Identify, assess, and mitigate tax risks across the region
- Monitor and coordinate transfer pricing matters and related documentation
- Track and evaluate legislative changes and their impact on the business
- Review contracts and business initiatives from a tax perspective
- Drive process improvements and reduce complexity within the tax function
Profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law, ideally with a specialization in Tax
- Several years of experience in tax, ideally within Pharma or Big4
- Strong knowledge of international tax regulations, especially in Europe and Eastern Europe
- Solid experience in tax audits, compliance, and tax accounting
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
