UX Developer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Managing end to end translation workflows for all European languages across infotainment systems, smartphone apps, app stores, and Features on Demand
- Serving as the primary English UX writer, creating and refining user facing content with clear, consistent, and brand aligned language
- Ensuring consistent terminology, microcopy, voice prompts, feature descriptions, and system messages across all platforms
- Conducting linguistic QA for on screen text, voice recognition, and text to speech, including testing in vehicles, on benches, with smartphones, and via automation
- Collaborating with product teams and UI/UX designers to ensure user friendly interfaces aligned with usability best practices and ISO 9241 11
- Improving UI text through user testing, A/B testing, expert reviews, and market specific evaluations
- Supporting the full UI lifecycle-from requirements to implementation, localization, and market release
- Analyzing competitor digital ecosystems to support the European UX writing strategy
Profile
- Solid experience in translation management, localization tools, and European language markets
- Strong stakeholder and supplier management, including handling translation memories and glossaries
- Experience working with UI/UX design, product teams, and engineering
- Ability to conduct functional and linguistic testing across vehicle and digital environments.
- Understanding of infotainment systems, app ecosystems, app stores, and subscription/Features on Demand models
- Experience with automated testing or willingness to learn
- A valid European driving license (Class B)
- Near native English skills with strong UX writing abilities for automotive digital experiences
