Senior Java Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services with a strong focus on Java, Spring, and scalable architectures
- Contribute to the evolution of our platform’s microservice ecosystem and integration layers
- Build reliable, secure, and high-quality code through testing, automation, and best engineering practices
- Collaborate closely with product, DevOps, and domain experts to shape technical solutions end-to-end
- Mentor developers and actively influence technical decisions and architectural direction
- Drive continuous improvement in performance, code quality, and system stability
Profile
- Hands-on experience in Java development
- Solid expertise with Spring / Spring Boot, REST APIs, and distributed systems
- Strong understanding of relational databases and ORM frameworks (e.g., JPA/Hibernate)
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-ready applications
- Knowledge of microservices, secure data processing, and event-driven systems is a plus
- Comfortable working in an international, English-speaking environment
- Self-driven, solution-oriented, and eager to take ownership
