Your responsibilities

As a Project Manager you will be expected to lead the execution of medium-size EPC projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments. You will be based in the Danish office in Skovlunde working with the Nordic market for Battery Energy Storage (BESS). Preferably, you have a broad knowledge of BESS market in the Nordic countries and can take this area to the next level for Hitachi. Some of your main responsibilities will be:
  • You will lead the project team allocated to the project, motivating, and monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones. 
  • Monitor and control project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow. 
  • Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risks, and ensure that all opportunities are identified and pursued. 
  • Ensure that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with policies and contractual agreements. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all stakeholders. 
  • Live core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your profile

  • Must haves: 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Danish and English 
  • Degree or master’s degree in Management Engineering or Engineering. 
  • Knowledge of Office365 (Excel, SAP, Microsoft Project) 
  • 3+ years of work experience in a similar role. 
  • It is a requirement to have the basic knowledge of how to move goods, including warehouse space, customer clearance, delivery time, etc. 
  • Experience with both planning and execution. 
  • Nice to haves: 
  • It is considered a plus with knowledge within contract terms, conditions and delivery terms
  • Broad knowledge of the Nordic BESS market, is a plus. 
  • Preferred experience with EPC projects. 
  • Technical knowledge and experience of the industry is a plus but not required since you will be working very closely together with the Technical Lead during the whole project.
  • A good financial understanding for budgets and experience within procurement is considered a plus
