Your responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor Big Data environment. 
  • Implement and support Hadoop software and systems.
  • Optimize and tune the Hadoop environments to meet performance requirements.
  • Work with data delivery teams to setup new Hadoop users and test cluster connectivity.
  • Perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments.
  • Define and document best practices, and contribute to the company knowledge base.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Big Data Administrator, or similar role.
  • Experience with Hadoop clusters, HDFS, MapReduce, and Hadoop ecosystems (Hive, Pig, etc.).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and Big Data solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Salary information

  • A market-compliant gross annual salary of € 65,000 gross per year is offered. Of course, the willingness to overpay is given depending on professional experience and qualifications.
